Today, it has a capacity of <strong>41 people<\/strong>, in a classic and welcoming environment of wood and stone. The walls have the signatures of some of the many illustrious people who visited our house, and above them, extensive historical paintings of the ancient city of Segovia, transporting our visitors through time and the rich Castilian history.  <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">In addition, its display cases contain some of the <strong>medals and decorations<\/strong> of C\u00e1ndido and his son A. Este sal\u00f3n destaca por su tradicional pozo de piedra de la \u00e9poca y una extensa barra de madera y piedra con los escudos de la casa tallados en ella. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">El nombre &#8220;El Portal\u00f3n&#8221; se debe a su funci\u00f3n original como <strong>principal recibidor<\/strong> de la casa. Con su amplio tama\u00f1o y gran altura, es el primer lugar por el que pasan todos nuestros visitantes, ofreciendo una c\u00e1lida bienvenida. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">En sus gruesas paredes de piedra, se encuentran grabados algunos de los sucesos m\u00e1s importantes que han tenido lugar en la hist\u00f3rica Plaza del Azoguejo. El suelo del comedor est\u00e1 compuesto de baldosas de barro originales de la \u00e9poca, cantos de r\u00edo y tabas de buey, todo empedrado con formas tradicionales. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Este sal\u00f3n tambi\u00e9n alberga <strong>importantes condecoraciones<\/strong>, como la medalla de Acad\u00e9mico de la Academia Tastavins Sant Humbert y numerosas medallas de La Chaine Des Rotisseurs, la asociaci\u00f3n gastron\u00f3mica m\u00e1s antigua del mundo. Este importante elemento se divide en dos partes: una fachada de madera con un recibidor que da acceso al interior del edificio, y una fachada de piedra que conduce al hist\u00f3rico Portal\u00f3n. <\/p>\n<p>La elecci\u00f3n de estos materiales y su dise\u00f1o no es casualidad. La madera y la piedra son s\u00edmbolos de la resistencia y la nobleza castellana, evocando tiempos en los que estos recursos locales eran utilizados para construir edificaciones robustas y duraderas. Ambas fachadas han conservado elementos arquitect\u00f3nicos tradicionales que subrayan su importancia hist\u00f3rica y que han perdurado desde el a\u00f1o 1789.  <\/p>\n<p>Bajo los soportales, se extiende un suelo que cuenta la historia de una \u00e9poca pasada. Las baldosas de barro originales, los cantos de r\u00edo y las tabas de buey forman un empedrado que no solo embellece el espacio, sino que tambi\u00e9n transporta a nuestros visitantes a los tiempos en que Castilla era una tierra de caminos empedrados y construcciones artesanales.
